It is still cold but maybe that is why we get really exciting to discover what this upcoming warmer season brings. Spring has always denoted warmth, relax and sophistication to me and this season it creates the same feeling.
Pastels are always a favourite in this blooming season, blue and blush tones are a must this year and can be found in any garment, but they really make a statement in shoes and jackets.

Nude is the new trend and although it can be included in the pastels category I rather not as this colour deserves a category of its own. It was timidly introduced in the winter season but it will have its moment in spring ’14. It has become a must-have in all of its forms. From tops and skirts to stilettos, trousers and underwear this trend is an equivalent of sophistication and elegance. For me nude is the new black.

Monochrome trend is still dominating the catwalks, however, it is presented in a different shape this time, rather than creating loads of different prints, black and white will intertwine in what is known as colour block, big patterns or in ensembles as: white trousers + black top which can never go wrong.

I have selected three different outfits that portray the best spring ’14 trends hoping to inspire you to create your spring wish list.
