Tell us a little about yourself…

Im 23, from Cork and have been obsessed with fashion for as long as I can remember! It’s hard to pinpoint my style, I love everything really from Girly to Grunge!

How long have you been blogging?

I’ve been blogging seriously for about a year now and it’s a huge passion of mine 🙂

What got you started in the world of online blogging?

I started watching beauty videos on Youtube first, which led me to the world of blogs.

What is your blog about?

My blog is about everything but mainly centres around beauty, make-up and fashion. A perfect girly haven!

Who is your favourite fashion designer?

It would have to be Victoria Beckham, she has just exploded in the fashion world over the past few years and I’m delighted that she’s finally been accepted as a serious designer. The silhouettes of her designs are beautiful and she really knows what works for every figure.

Bags or shoes?

That’s a tough one! I’d have to say shoes as nothing makes me feel as confident as throwing on a pair of killer heels.

What do you think of plastic surgery?

Personally, I don’t think I would ever have any but each to their own at the end of the day. As long as people don’t get obsessed and stay safe, then that’s all that matters.

What do you think of size 0 models?

I personally don’t feel like they send the right message to young girls. I appreciate that everyone comes in different sizes and that people can be naturally very slim, but there’s a difference between slim and an emaciated size 0.

What is your favourite item in your wardrobe?

This constantly changes but at the moment I’m favouring some chic peg leg trousers I own. They look so sophisticated and stylish, a definite style staple of mine.

What could not leave the house without?

My handbag! I’m one of those women that carry their life in their bag so I’d be lost without it!

What is your favourite beauty item?

That would have to be lipstick. You can’t beat the subtle sexiness of a red lip.

What is your fashion pet peeve?

I don’t really have one but I do feel like girls should dress for their body type more. Wearing clothes that are clearly too small is never a good look.

Who’s style do you admire most?

Definitely Victoria Beckham again. She always looks chic and just effortlessly stylish.

At school, would you have described your dress sense as?

I think I tried to be as chic as I could in school. I always rocked my heels at the weekend and never went to school without a full face of makeup!

What are your hopes and dreams for the future?

I would love to write for a magazine, maybe own and work in a beauty salon or even become a fashion buyer! I have loads of dreams.

What do you love most about blogging?

I love meeting new people and the amazing support and lovely comments I receive daily from my readers.

What is your biggest blogging achievement so far?

I feel like I’ve achieved so much since I’ve started, from working with various brands/PR firms, being sent products weekly, getting invited to events and also winning a recent writing competition with Boohoo.Com.

What do you think about ethical fashion?

I am certainly a keen supporter of ethical fashion and do think that we must always strive to improve the methods used to make clothes etc.

What would you say to any would be bloggers out there?

Write about what you love! Don’t get caught up in trying to be like anyone else and don’t worry about numbers, if you write about what you’re passionate about then the readers will come!

And finally, what will you be writing about on Clothes.ie?

I will be sharing my beauty and fashion obsessions on here and will be featuring everything from beauty reviews to exclusive previews of all the best collections 🙂
